Anyone sick of the house posts yet?? I promise I will post about something else soon, but since we have had record-breaking temperatures (102 degrees today!), we have been spending some quality time inside in the air conditioning! Fortunately, the heat wave should be gone by tomorrow (phew!), so hopefully we will have some blog worthy activities going on.
Until then...more house! And I totally don't blame you if you don't read these - they are mostly for my own personal record, and I know that at least my family is interested (Right, guys?). All of these pictures were taken with Cameron's phone, so sorry if they are not the best quality/lighting.
Today they finally finished that last little bit of siding on the front of the house (the part right above the front door). I am not really sure why they had to wait till now, but hey...it's done.
They got the vinyl floors down in the mudroom, laundry room, and bathrooms.
Tile has also been put in around our bathtub, and the fireplace.
We know the timeline for a couple things...
- Thursday, June 9 - Cameron and I are putting in mirrors (a task that has turned out to be WAY less fun than I originally thought it would be when I decided I wanted to do it ourselves).
- Monday, June 13 - Wood floors go in.
- Thursday, June 16 - Appliances go in.
As far as carpet, lighting, concrete in the garage and garage doors, driveway, and some other little things like balusters, shelving, etc....I have no idea when any of that is happening, but hopefully soon! We are READY to move! :)

I'm not family, and I love your updates! Your fireplace and mantle look awesome! ***jealous*** :0)
I am totally interested, and I bet most non-family readers are, too! It is going to look so good when the wood floors and carpet are down. Can't wait to see all of your color choices put together... it is going to look awesome! When are they putting the granite counter tops in?
I love it! Your house looks wonderful!
When is the stone siding going on?
Looking good! I love your tile--perfect for hiding dirt! So much better than our bright white tile. I'm getting excited for you!
