May Randoms
There have been some cute pictures that we have taken of Miley in the last couple of weeks, but that I haven't really put into any posts. So this is just going to be a hodge podge of some pictures...can you guys believe May is almost over?!
Oh and the weather here has been HOT and HUMID lately (like, I am talking in the 90's hot, and probably with about 80% humidity!)...makes me wonder what the actual summer is going to be like!
Picture group #1: Miley thought it would be fun to pull out our change jar and play with it...what can I say. The girl likes money (don't worry all...we were sitting with her the whole time, so we made sure she didn't put any in her mouth...our best parenting moment letting her play with it in the first place?? probably not. :))!
Picture group #2: We went to Miley's friend, Jack's, birthday party, and she was loving just going off by herself and exploring. I definitely don't have a clingy girl. She is little Miss Independent.

Toddler Tuesday...Curious George
While the idea was cool, the whole thing was a little chaotic. I thought that all the kids would have a chance to get to meet Curious George, and get the obligatory photo, but they had a line that they closed off at exactly 10:00 am (when the event began!). I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal, and that Miley would probably be freaked out by the huge George anyway, but boy, was I wrong (sorry about the blurry pictures....I only brought my little point and shoot camera...but really, the blurry pictures kind of fit with the chaos of the whole thing).
She was trying so hard to get to him. She was trying to run up to the front, get under the ropes, ANYTHING to get to her favorite monkey. They had activites for the kids to do, that included coloring and cutting out pieces to make a paper bag monkey. Now normally, Miley would have loved this type of thing, but I swear, nothing was going to appease her until she got to give George a hug. Which of course, she didn't, because we weren't in the line. I thought it was kind of sad that they couldn't just leave the line open for kids to get to see George, but I guess there was some kind of reason behind it.

Mother's Day
It consisted of :
- Sleeping in
- Strawberry crepes and smoothies for breakfast
- An adorable card with Miley scribbles all over it, and money inside for a massage!
- A dinner made by my awesome hubby and cool brother-in-law with steaks, mashed potatoes, asparagus, fruit salad, and rolls
But the best part was spending the day with the sweet little buggy who made me a mom. I feel so lucky to be Miley's mom, and feel like she teaches me about all of the important things in life.

Happy Mother's Day to all those other moms out there...you don't know how much I look up to all of you, and admire you for the job that you do and the example you are to me- sisters, mom-in-law, sister-in-laws, friends...the world would be a darker place without all of these wonderful ladies in it!

Countdown(s)
- 8 days until our 3-year anniversary!
- 24 days until Cameron starts his half-day Fridays for the summer!
- 49 days until Miley turns TWO (kinda sad...)!
- 53 days until I turn 25 (Yikes...gettting old!)!
- 61 days until the 4th of July!
- 66 days until we roadtrip it to Laramie, WY to see my family!
- 71 days until the Polson extended family reunion in Park City, UT!
- 83 days until the Clark family reunion outside of Durango, CO!
We have spent the last 5 days cooped up inside while Miley got over some kind of nasty bug. Now that I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and she is getting healthy again, Cameron is coming down with something (probably the same thing).
So, I am trying to focus on the many fun things that we have coming up relatively soon, instead of the serious lack of fun we have had around here lately.
Sigh.
