House - Day 45

Well, it's official.  Our house is locked and we can't get in and walk around anymore.  :(

The good news, is that means that stuff is now getting done on the inside!  The ceilings have been textured, the walls are painted, and they are working on putting up doors and trim around the windows!  Yay!  Too bad we can only see this by being creeper-ish and peeking in any window we can reach!  Ha ha!

The front of the house is almost completely sided now - it just needs to be painted.  The shakes are going to be a cream color (I can't remember how dark??  I kind of picture it being lighter than the color they are now, but a little darker than the siding is now??  I guess it will be a surprise!), and the siding is going to be gray.

The house is at a fun stage right now, because it is really turning into OUR house.  We are finally getting to see what all of our selections look like in REAL size.  :)  Hopefully they all turn out as well as we thought they would when looking at samples!

It's not creeper-ish if it is your own house, is it? I would totally do the same thing. I can't wait to see all of your floor, surface, finish, and color selections... It is going to look great and I can't wait to see it!

WOW!!!! Soon enough you won't be locked out anymore, since you'll be the owner of that baby. I can't wait to see it in person (hopefully sooner than later)!
Thanks for the comment. I can't believe you saw it so fast! I just put another post on the blog for November/December that's after the Jan/Feb one.

Looking good! Too bad you guys didn't pay a little extra so you wouldn't have the dirt driveway, garage and basement floor.
