My Husband Will Love Me...

...if I can learn to shop like this ALL the time!

My friend, Cecia, is an awesome shopper. She knows how to pull all the coupons and sales together and get some great deals on stuff. So I took some lessons from her and went shopping today, where I scored all of this stuff.


I got:

• 2 boxes of Special K cereal
• 2 boxes of Special K cereal bars
• 1 box of Kudos granola bars
• 6 Hershey's bars
  
• 1 box of Twixels candy
• 4 Gerber's Graduates meals
• 8 hot dog buns
• 4 Johnson and Johnson Bath Buddies
• 2 6-packs of Boost Kid Essentials drinks
• 2 Playtex sippy cups
• 2 lbs bananas

How much did I spend??

$18.21!!!!!

Now, how much did I save??

$40.54!!!!!

Can you believe it?? I couldn't.

Now for some fun facts:

• The Johnson and Johnson Bath Buddies were $0.97 each. I had a $1.00 off coupon for each, making them FREE!!
• The Boost Kid Essentials drinks were $7.99 each. I had 2 $5.00 off coupons from the manufacturer, and 2 $2.00 off coupons from Target, making them $0.99 each.
• The Special K stuff was on sale this week...plus I had coupons for $1.00 off each cereal, $1.00 off 2 boxes of the Special K bars, and 2 $0.50 off each box of bars. That made it $8.56, plus I got a $5.00 Target gift card for buying 4 Special K products, that I used to buy some of the other stuff.
• Plus, I got my 10% employee discount from Target on all of this stuff. Gotta love that.
  

I think this could be kind of fun...so Cecia, I am probably going to be calling you a lot to get more ideas! :)
