Miley had a "ball" (literally, and figuratively). She was carrying any ball she could get her hands on around all night. Plus, she just had fun following all the other kids around and trying to get in on the action. We cooked hot dogs over the fire, and made s'mores a little later. Yummy!
We had so much fun, and it was a great turnout with about 13 families. Hopefully we can make this a tradition of sorts, and maybe next time we will be feeling courageous enough to try spending the night!
But I have to admit...it sure felt great to be in our large, comfy bed that night. :)

I love the picture of her in that big pink camping chair. She just looks like such a big girl! Also love the one of her and Cameron. Soooo sweet! Our little girls were such troopers staying up so late. Next year I hope you guys sleep over! Miley will love it!
Camping is the best way to spend Labor Day weekend, isn't it? That looks like a huge group... bet you had lots of fun! I am not brave enough to camp with Bode yet either. I value my sleep too much! Maybe next year, right?
So fun! Almost every weekend we are either camping or at least up in the mountains hiking and roasting hot dogs! The boys LOVE it! Miley looked like she really had a good time. It's funny, both boys sleep soooo good when we camp. It must be that they are so tired, but the look so cute snuggled up in their sleeping bags.
how fun! i would have gone home to a comfy bed too. i bet miley loved the smores.
Ha ha, I love the "Wendy Clark" method of camping. I think your way sounds nicer too. That said, wow it looks so pretty and green there! SOOO beautiful:)
