Snow, Snow, and More Snow!

This winter could not be any more different than last winter.  Last winter was very mild, with hardly any snow.  this winter we have been freezing and have seen snow most days this month so far!

Today we had a particularly wet, big snowstorm.  Big enough to cancel church today (which is a pretty big deal, considering is takes a lot for Minnesotans to cancel anything), but it was slippery, and probably pretty dangerous to drive so we got a nice day to relax.

Lots of snow meant lots of shoveling for Cameron, but also lots of playing.  He built a pretty cute little snow fort in our back yard, which was quite the hit with our kids and lots of the neighbor kids!

We had a hard time getting the kids inside, they were having so much fun playing in the snow.  Can't say the same goes for me...this girl is ready for some warmer weather!  Hopefully it shows up soon!

That has to have been some snowstorm to get anything cancelled in Minnesota! Glad you are surviving, and having fun, from the looks of it!

Cameron seems to be the master igloo builder. Did he get a permit for that?
