Miley was so excited to have her Valentine's party at school this year. I think for about a week leading up to it, she was asking everyday if today was THE day that they got to have their party. It was fun for me to get to go as well....my friend watched Landon for me for the 30 minutes or so that parents could come to the party, so I was able to focus all my attention on Miley.
The kids got to sing a couple of songs for us, and then they got their bags with all their Valentine's in them and got to open them. I didn't realize that V-day had become the new Halloween (sooo much candy!!), but Miley loved opening all of her goodies.

Dude, okay, I totally remember Valentine's day being comparable to Halloween in terms of epic amounts of candy. Clearly Miley's school is doing it right! Teya's school however BANNED candy from EVERYTHING!! They couldn't' have it for halloween, they can't have it for birthdays and we couldn't send it with their Valentines. Instead they do pencils and stickers and bubbles and junk like that. I'm like, what the heck?! What is a holiday without CANDY!! (okay sorry for the vent but I'm just totally jealous of Miley's Valentine candy, lol.) Glad she had fun and that you got to be there for it! I really need to volunteer at Teya's school sometime, that would be fun.
How fun that you got to be at Miley's school for the party! Seems she had a few "Valentines" to choose from (from the looks of the bottom picture!).
