Look Who's Two!!

I am VERY behind on this post, but I had to get it up!!  Landon is officially TWO (as of the 17th).  Can't believe this little guy....

....grew into this cute boy....

...and now looks like this!!

Seriously though.  These two years with Landon have gone so much faster than it seems like it went with Miley.  He really is such a little joy to have in our lives, and makes us laugh daily.  Very cliche, but we really can't imagine life without him.

We were able to have a little celebration during our cabin weekend, but when we got home on the evening of his birthday we were able to open all f our family presents.  It was quite the experience....take 2 very sleep deprived kids, an older sister who was a little jealous of all the gifts for her brother, and wanted to open everything, and we had quite a few tears and meltdowns.  Landon, however, was thrilled with all of the cute gifts he got.  He is one lucky boy to have so many family members that care about him.

For the most part, it was a nice relaxing birthday, and we just got to spend it celebrating our little boy.  I hope to soon do a post all about Landon soon, and what he is doing and has learned, but I just had to get his post done before March!!

Happy birthday, sweet boy!  We are so lucky to be able to call you ours!

Friday Foto Dump

I haven't done this for a couple weeks, so this is a little bit of a catch up post...

 One morning it literally looked like a perfect winter wonderland outside.  It was beautiful!

Cabin Weekend

This last weekend, our neighbors invited our whole group of neighbor friends to spend a couple days up at their family's cabin in Wisconsin.  We jumped at the chance.  We love hanging out with this group of friends, and our kids all love playing together, so we knew it would be a fun weekend.

We drove up early Saturday morning, and just hung out for a little bit.  We were able to get Landon down for a nap, and while he was napping the dads took the kids outside to play on the frozen lake.  Lucky for us moms, we got to just hang out inside where it was warm and just talk (it was so relaxing, and so nice to just SIT and not have anything to worry about!).  I did join Cameron for a little bit to ride on a snowmobile around the frozen lake....so fun!

The rest of the day we were able to eat some yummy food and just enjoy being with good friends.  

Since Landon's birthday was this same weekend, we brought up a cake and were able to have a little celebration before sending the kids off to bed.

The next morning we were able to have a wonderful breakfast, let the kids play some more, and then headed for home around nap time so that the kids could get a little rest in the car.  It was so fun to spend a weekend with some of our favorite people, and we hope to do it again soon!

Preschool Valentines Party

Miley was so excited to have her Valentine's party at school this year.  I think for about a week leading up to it, she was asking everyday if today was THE day that they got to have their party.  It was fun for me to get to go as well....my friend watched Landon for me for the 30 minutes or so that parents could come to the party, so I was able to focus all my attention on Miley.

The kids got to sing a couple of songs for us, and then they got their bags with all their Valentine's in them and got to open them.  I didn't realize that V-day had become the new Halloween (sooo much candy!!), but Miley loved opening all of her goodies.

"Prince Charming" and our little sweetheart just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!
