Well, Cameron just recently switched jobs within General Mills, and has been really busy tying up loose ends at his old position, while trying to learn his new position. Therefore, he has been going in on Friday mornings much more frequently now. As any SAHM can attest, Fridays are when you start the countdown to having another adult around for a couple of days...am I right? :)
Lucky for us, on one such Friday morning, a wonderful woman from church, Shawnee, invited us over to go swimming at her pool. We jumped on it! It was the perfect way to kill a Friday morning, and it is so much easier to take Miley and Landon when we are just going to someone's backyard.
Miley had lots of fun...the pool was the perfect temperature, and they had some princess toys that she was in heaven playing with. She was a little scared though, which is something that is happening more and more often the older she gets. She was like a little monkey clinging to me the whole time. Maybe it is time to get her in some swimming lessons?
Apparently my girl is eating a PB & J everytime we go swimming? :)

Ummm... I start the countdown to having another adult around on Monday morning... ha ha! But seriously, it is so nice that Cameron gets Fridays off during the summers. Sometimes I miss when Kipp worked in Boulder and worked 4-10's... the weekends felt ALMOST as long as the work weeks!
And c'mon, babies don't need a swim suit...just a swim diaper (especially if you are at a friends house!). If you need to borrow some trunks, I have some that Cruze is about to outgrow. You should have taken a picture of Landon in his regular diaper post-pool (I still have a picture of Miley saved on my phone that you sent me after she went swimming in a regular diaper... the diaper is HUGE! It is soooo funny!). I wish we lived closer so that we could put the kids in some swimming lessons together.
Landon is soooooo cute! Just want to kiss him!
Half day Friday's rule. Too bad we don't get them out in the plants ; ( boo!!
That's so cool that you went to swim at Shawnee's house. What a sweet playdate for your kids! Love seeing Landon in the pool in his little diaper. What a cutie!!
I want to get Brinley in swimming lessons too. You should do them at Foss, they are amazing! Right after Teya turned 3 I signed her up for a swim camp. She loved it so much I did 5 weeks in a row because I really wanted her to get it. After 5 weeks she went up 3 levels and was swimming independently without any help. Highly recommend it! Too bad they don't have anything like that out here. Brinley won't even stick her head under water. We have a blow up pool and Teya swims all over that thing put Brinley just bobs around in her ducky floatie, scared to death of getting splashed! lol! yeah, she could definitely use some lessons!
