*Drooling*
This may not seem like a big deal for some of you, but for me, this is pretty fancy-shmancy...so I document it. :)
*Post Edit: I had some requests for the recipe, and I have to admit I am a little embarrassed to share because it is SOOO easy! But hey, everyone loves an easy dessert, right?
Ingredients:
- 1 angel food cake, cut into three horizontal layers
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple
- 1.5 oz box instant vanilla sugar-free, fat-free pudding
- 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip
- Strawberries (or any fruit, really...we used strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)
Directions:
- Mix together pineapple and dry pudding mix in medium bowl with whisk until well blended. Stir in Cool Whip.
- Stack cake layers on plate, topping each layer with pudding mixture (I also put fruit in between each layer).
- Refrigerate 1 hour, and top with berries.
There you go...easy-peasy and oh so yummy! This is a great spring/summer dessert!
