...we must be crazy right?
But before you think we are too nuts for going swimming in the freezing cold, it was an INDOOR water park. More specifically, the Water Park of America (supposedly, the largest indoor water park in the country).
I know, I had you worried for a minute with the title. :)
Anyway, on December 30th, we went with the Harkers and the other Minnesota Clark's to spend the day at the water park. I was a little apprehensive, since Miley would be coming with us, and between driving there and driving home, we would be gone from about 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. I always dread days when naps aren't really going to happen, but it turned out to be a great day!
Believe it or not, I actually had so much free time, because everyone in the family took turns watching Miley (I was so spoiled for the few days when the Harkers were in town...I didn't have to entertain Miley for days, and she loved all the extra attention!). Cameron and I had plenty of opportunities to go down all the slides, float the lazy river, do the "surfing" ride, and overall, we had a fun relaxing day (which I was kind of not expecting)!
You can tell Miley didn't lack attention... :)
Miley also had a blast swimming all day...she is such a water baby! You couldn't tear her away from the ENORMOUS kiddie area for anything!
And to top off a great day, Miley even took a little snooze with her Uncle Mark! For the record, I can't even REMEMBER the last time she fell asleep somewhere besides the car or bed!
It was so much getting to do this with the family, and I am pretty sure we all slept REALLY well that night! :)

Wow that water park looks awesome! I heard it was cool but I'm so bummed that we never actually went there. Looks like a blast! Love your swimsuit and Miley sleeping in her uncle's arms is priceless!
Looks like you had a lot of fun! :) Your swimsuit is super cute, too!! I actually have that same one, only it's maroon instead of brown. I love it! Too bad I can't fit in it anymore...maybe someday?? Having a baby really messes with your body!!!
that is the coolest thing ever! an indoor water park?! sounds like so much fun especially in the winter when you are missing summer.
That water park looks like so much fun! Why didn't we do that while I was there? Miley looks adorable in her little yellow swimsuit. Did she go down the slides all by herself? The last picture (of her sleeping in her uncle's arms) is TOO CUTE. Love it. And how nice for you that everyone was so helpful and you were able to enjoy yourself!

Wow, you learn something new everyday. Now I now the Mall of America isn't Minnesota's only claim to fame:) You always have the cutest clothes on.
