New Wheels...

With Cameron starting his new job at General Mills, he no longer is able to carpool with his brother. We are definitely going to miss that, since we only had to have one car for the first two and a half years of marriage! So the time came for us to get a second car....

We were going back and forth for the last several weeks on if we should get a little junker, run around car for Cameron to drive, or if we should get a bigger car for me to drive, since we would probably need to get a bigger car in a couple of years anyway.

We opted for the bigger car, and after going back and forth on many different makes and models, we brought this little beaut home...

It is a 2008 Toyota Highlander, and we are loving it! There is definitely room to grow, and so hopefully that means we won't have to buy another car for several more years!

Now if we can just get used to having to pay gas and insurance on TWO cars...sigh. :)

I think you guys made the right decision on getting the bigger car. I guess we need to come back for a visit so that we can test the new rides capacity... at least I won't have to sit on the floor this time!

Love the car!!! Zak and I bought an '09 Highlander back in April, and we LOVE IT! There is plenty of room to grow, yet it's not too big. We actually took it on our first big road trip to Canada this summer, and it was so nice having lots of room to spread out (especially since I wasn't exactly comfortable being big and pregnant!)! :) You will LOVE the Highlander!!

toyota is definitely the right choice. my dad has a highlander, and we bought an 08 toyota rav4 just a couple weeks ago and love it!! junker cars you would end up putting way to much in it..so good choice. love the color. i wish ours was blue =)

Nice wheels! I'm glad I got to see a picture of it. I know we talked about it awhile ago but I hadn't seen it yet. How is it getting used to a parking garage?
