This last weekend, my parents decided to make a really spontaneous trip to come up and visit me! I was very excited to have them, and it was nice to have the company because Cameron was out of town on a fishing trip with some of his brothers.
Once again, I was totally lame and didn't get ANY pictures. I need to start leaving my camera attached to my hip, or something!
My parents got in Friday evening, and we got a quick dinner, then just hung out talking and playing games. The next day, we shopped till we dropped! We had a lot of fun hitting up the mall, which included Gap, Children's Place, Gymboree, and Border's. We also went to Babies R Us, and Sports Authority. After running home, to put Miley down for a nap (and leaving my dad there to watch her - thanks dad!!) my mom and I ran back to go to Old Navy, Kohl's, and Byerly's, which is the most amazing grocery store EVER. We picked up some yummy salads and desserts to go with dinner that night, and then we headed home. After dinner, we ran out yet again to go to Target! It was a busy day, but lots of fun!
On Sunday, we spent the day recovering from our big shopping day the day before. We took some walks, and had kind of a lazy day, but I really enjoyed having my parents there to talk to and to enjoy the day with!
Monday, we ran all over the place again. We went to Target in the morning to get some stuff that we didn't the last time. After Miley's nap, we went to Ikea. I wish I had gotten some pictures here, because we had a really fun time, and found some cute things! We ate lunch at Ikea, then went home to put Miley down for a nap.
Cameron got back into town on Sunday night, so on Monday we met him down at the mall area after work and we went to California Pizza Kitchen for Dinner.
We had so much fun running around like crazy. My parents helped me decorate some areas of our apartment that needed some help, and now everything looks so much cuter!
Miley was absolutely WONDERFUL the whole time. She was so cute, holding my parents hands when we were walking places (again, something I REALLY wish I had thought to take pictures of!!), and trying to get them to read her a book anytime she could. They really got to see her true personality this time, because she always seems a little "off" when we go to Laramie.
Thanks Mom and Dad for making the LONG drive up here, so last minute! It was so fun to see you guys, and I can't wait to see you again soon!

Oh man I haven't shopped like that in FOREVER! usually 2 stores is my max these days but there was a time when I could go for hours just like you guys did. shopping all day is pretty much Taber's worst nightmare but I LOVE it! When I'm with my sister we can be in one store for 6 hours and never get bored.
That's awesome that your parents got to see Miley in her own element. My parents are coming out in a few weeks and I'm so happy they'll get to see the kids in their own routine. Anyway, glad you guys had so much fun!
I'm glad they were able to make it up before school starts. And it is nice that you had company while Cameron was gone. I can't wait to see the newly decorated apartment in exactly 7 weeks!
I'm glad you had company. We forgot Cameron was gone until Sunday or I would've called you.
It's always nice to have the parents come to take care of you.
Glad you had fun!
that is so nice that your parents were able to be with you while cameron was gone. wow that sounds like a lot of shopping! you need to take pictures of how you decorated the apartment. i love ikea!
That is so great Wendy! It's nice when you can get a little spoiled like that too! Glad they got to see Miley in her home and own environment, it is always so much easier and they are so much happier. Love ya
