The week before, we dyed Easter eggs with the cousins. I seriously need to step up my game and start bringing my camera with me more, because I don't take pictures and then I am so bugged when I come to blog and don't have any pictures! But it was a good time...you will have to take my word for it. :)
The kids had a lot of fun at the gym this week doing Easter crafts. These cute bunny ears were just one of the many...
In the past few years, the big group Easter egg hunt we go to on the Saturday before is always dampened by snow, rain, wind, or just plain cold temperatures. This year, the whole week leading up to Easter, we got a TON of snow. So Cameron and I just kind of figured we would sit the Easter egg hunt out this year and do our own thing at our house.
Even though it was a lousy weather week leading up to Easter, we could not have asked for a more perfect day on Easter. It was sunny, no wind, and in the 70's. Our kids were thrilled to find a few eggs hidden for them on Easter morning, and to find their baskets from the Easter bunny!
We had eggs and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then it was time to get dressed for church. Love my little spring chickies...
Tonight we had dinner at Don and Cindy's....it definitely did not disappoint! Ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls, jell-o salad, asparagus, and we brought angel lush cake for dessert! Yummy!
With Easter being so late this year, I thought for sure we would have a beautiful weekend. Even though the week wasn't that great, I am glad Minnesota got its act together and delivered a beautiful Easter day!

Glad that Mother Nature decided to give you Minnesotians (?) a break. I would tell you to come spend Easter with us some year, but I can't guarantee our weather would be any better. Such a cute little fam in your Easter best!
