Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Easter was very low key this year, which was great.

The week before, we dyed Easter eggs with the cousins.  I seriously need to step up my game and start bringing my camera with me more, because I don't take pictures and then I am so bugged when I come to blog and don't have any pictures!  But it was a good time...you will have to take my word for it.  :)

The kids had a lot of fun at the gym this week doing Easter crafts.  These cute bunny ears were just one of the many...

In the past few years, the big group Easter egg hunt we go to on the Saturday before is always dampened by snow, rain, wind, or just plain cold temperatures.  This year, the whole week leading up to Easter, we got a TON of snow.  So Cameron and I just kind of figured we would sit the Easter egg hunt out this year and do our own thing at our house.

Even though it was a lousy weather week leading up to Easter, we could not have asked for a more perfect day on Easter.  It was sunny, no wind, and in the 70's.  Our kids were thrilled to find a few eggs hidden for them on Easter morning, and to find their baskets from the Easter bunny!

We had eggs and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then it was time to get dressed for church.  Love my little spring chickies...

Tonight we had dinner at Don and Cindy's....it definitely did not disappoint!  Ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls, jell-o salad, asparagus, and we brought angel lush cake for dessert!  Yummy!

With Easter being so late this year, I thought for sure we would have a beautiful weekend.  Even though the week wasn't that great, I am glad Minnesota got its act together and delivered a beautiful Easter day!

Big Boy!

Since he turned three, we have really been trying to get Landon potty trained.  2 months later, we now feel confident enough to say we did it!  The first couple weeks were rough, but once he got it, he REALLY got it!  He even did really well during our trip to Florida (which was only about a week or so after he got the hang of it).  We thought the running around, and being at the beach would set him back a bit, but not at all.

He has even been staying dry during naps and about 75% of the time during the night.  It feel so great to have a break from diapers for a few months!

Since he filled out his sticker chart, and we feel like he really has the hang of it now, we let him go pick out a prize.  No surprise, he picked out a truck.  :)

We are so proud of our big boy!

Daddy's Helper

With the intermittent nice days that we are having now, Cameron decided it was time to get the trampoline out of storage and set up.  The kids were so excited!  But while Miley just wanted to run around and play while it was getting set up, Landon wanted to be in on all the action.  Cameron let him use the drill (scary!) and he thought he was too cool.

He is such a little guy's guy.  It is so fun to see my boys working on stuff like this together!

Baby Update!

Wow, I am doing a really terrible job of keeping up with this blog in general, which sadly also includes baby updates!  Here is the latest with Clark baby #3!!

I am now going on 23 weeks!  In some ways, it seems like the time is flying, in others it feels like it is crawling.  I am sure August will be here before I know it, but for now it still feels like a long time away!  I haven't been as good at documenting the growing bump as I was during Landon's pregnancy, but here are some pictures of the past few weeks...

16 weeks...

20 weeks...

And today, April 16th, at 5 months, or 22 weeks and 4 days...

I am feeling huge already.  I started this pregnancy at my "happy weight," and fortunately, I still weigh quite a bit less than I did at this point with Landon.  I feel like I look the same size, but yet I weight so much less.  Kind of annoying, because I think I should look smaller!  Oh well.  As long as I can manage to stay on the same track I am on right now, I should hopefully be about 10 pounds less than I was with Landon at the end of it.  Crossing my fingers, because that would be super healthy when it comes to getting back in shape again!

We had our big ultrasound on March 31st, and found out what this little nugget is...

Yup...it's another boy!  With one of each, you can't really go wrong.  To be honest, I am happy either way, and I think I would have been sad either way.  There is a chance this is our last baby, so it is sad to think I might not have another girl, but if it had been a girl, it would have been sad to think we might not have another boy!  Either way, we are excited.  Landon is still pretty clueless about the whole thing in general, and although she was rooting for a girl, Miley took about 2 seconds to be thrilled that it is another boy.

Really, things are just pretty uneventful and we are just plugging along.  I am still getting to the gym 3-4 times per week and running on the treadmill and doing the stairmaster.  Running is getting a little uncomfortable, so I may be switching to the eliptical soon?  We will see.

The little guy is starting to move more (or is just getting bigger, so now I can feel him move more!), and that is always one of my favorite parts of being pregnant, so that has been fun!

I am looking forward to pinning down a name (I think we are almost there ;)), picking out new bedding and quilt fabric, etc.  I will try to update again soon!
