Kindergarten Kid

Yesterday I sent Miley off for her very first day of kindergarten.  She was thrilled to be starting school.  I am ready, too, but have to admit there were a few tears!

Here she is with her sign like last year...although this year she now wants to be a mom when she grows up instead of a princess.  :)

Little brother had to get in a few pictures too (and really, who doesn't want to see more of that adorable smile anyway??)...

We headed down to the bus stop and met up with all the other little kindergarteners from our street....it is a good bunch.

I didn't get any pictures of Miley getting on the bus...it was kind of crazy, and I also was video chatting with Cameron on my phone so he could see her get on the bus from work.  She jumped right on though, and was ready to go.  I did get some pictures of her coming off the bus, and if these are any indication of how her first day went, I would say it was a success!

It is going to take some getting used to having Miley gone every afternoon.  It is nice to have the one-on-one time with Landon when he gets up from his nap, but the rest of the time just feels too quiet! We are so excited for Miley and all that she will learn this year!

So cute! So crazy that all 5 of the grandkids born that year are all in Kindergarten now! That is a lot of graduations for Grandma and Grandpa! She is so cute. Is she all day or half? Brig is all day, I think it is wrong, but he loves it so far!

What a cutie pie! I love that she wants to be a Mom! Obviously you are setting an awesome example if that's the career she most admires :) Brinley wants to be rockstar and maybe a mom on the side, lol! Maybe I should work on being a cooler mom!

I LOVE the picture of Miley jumping off the school bus... too cute. :) And look at that stylin' peplum shirt... what a little fashionista! Glad her first day went well and hope she continues to enjoy the big world of kindergarten!
