About a month ago, we got to travel out to Oregon for Cameron's family reunion that occurs every two years. Since we were heading that way anyway, we decided to go out a few days early and spend some time with Cameron's brother, Brennan, and his family who are living in Seattle.
After a VERY early flight, with a connection in Denver, we made it to Seattle at around 10:30 in the morning on July 12th. We were all pretty wiped out, but had fun just hanging out with the family and taking it easy. Miley was so excited to play with her cousins, Hailey and Jacob.
The next day, we tried to pack in some fun. Rachel, my sister-in-law, and I went in the morning to get pedicures and manicures. after we got home, we packed up the rest of the family and went to downtown Seattle to check out the sights, go to the aquarium, and eat some fish and chips. It was beautiful being on the sound. Our kids tired out pretty quickly, so we went back home and spent the rest of the evening relaxing.
On Monday, the 16th, we packed up again and drove down to Waldport, OR to our beach house for the reunion. I don't have all the pictures from this week yet, so that blog post will have to wait, but at least I am starting to catch up!

Yay for catching up!! I'm totally in the same boat and am finally slowly but surely getting caught up on summer! It just went by so quickly and now all of sudden Teya is starting school on Tuesday and I'm like, HOLY COW! I haven't even blogged about summer!! So yeah, I know it can be daunting but I'm happy you're catching up so I can see my sweet little Clark babies :)
That's awesome that you guys got to go out early for the family reunion. I think it's the best because then you get more low key bonding time. Jealous that you got manis and pedis with your sister in law. It's been way too long since I've done that! Cute cute pics of the kids at the aquarium! Can't wait to hear more about the actual reunion!!
Seriously, you and I need to go on a week-long blog-catch-up vacation... somewhere kid free where we can sit on a beach or at a coffee shop and catch up on the last several months of our lives... and maybe just have some fun sister time in there too. :) Deal? Anyways, Seattle looks fun and I bet you enjoyed spending time with family that you don't get to see too often (aside from big family reunions). You can definitely tell that your kiddos and their cousins are related! I am still sad that you were so close (in Denver!) and we didn't get to see you. :(
