Summer Road Trip Part 1 - Laramie, July 9 - July 14

I figure it is about time to start talking about our epic road trip, so I am going to break it up into four parts. 

Don't forget, I am totally lame and forget to take pictures a LOT while I am on vacation and that is totally the case for this first part.  I was going through my camera, and couldn't believe that I didn't have one single picture from our first few days in Laramie!

Anyway, we left Maple Grove on Thursday night, July 8, at about 10:00 pm.  Crazy, I know, but we choose to do this because Cameron actually prefers to drive at night, and by doing this we can usually guarantee ourselves some good quailty sleep-time from Miley.  She was awake until about 12:30 am when we left, but then she fell asleep and stayed that way until about 7:30 the next morning.  At that point we were only about 4 hours away from Laramie, so the restlessness from Miley didn't phase us too much.  :)  We pulled into Laramie at about 10:30 on Friday morning, and spent the next few days catching up with my whole family.  Lindsey and her family were there, and Gelsey and her family were there for a couple days.

We were pretty much in a sleepy delirious state those first couple of days from the long trip (maybe I can blame my lack of pictures on that??).  But we were still able to play some games, goto a carnival that was in town, and have lots of time to just chat.  Cameron worked from home on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so that kept him busy while I had some sister time.  :)

I am glad that we got to have some time with our whole family together.  That doesn't happen very often, and it is always fun (and a little bit crazy!) when we get together!
