We got the classic, red Radio Flyer trike. There were some other Radio Flyer trikes there that were a little smaller and probably would have been better for her at her age right now, but I just love the look of old-fashioned, classic toys, and had to get her this one. It may be a little big now, but in a year we will be grateful she still has room to grow, right? But for now, we are doing the *ghetto* version and Cameron made some makeshift "pedal heighteners". Aren't we classy? We don't even know if they will really work (she was in bed by the time we got them on) but it is worth a try. Even if they are ghetto fabulous. :)
Miley was thrilled, and I guess just thought we were going too slow, so she wanted to help put the thing together. And let me tell you...she was the biggest help ever (I kid, I kid)! :) It was so cute though, seeing her so concentrated on trying to put the screws in. She definitely though she was actually helping.

Oh man this is adorable! You'll have to let me know how long it takes her to get the hang of riding it. We have been saving this for Jack's 2nd birthday so in May he and Miley can go on a bike ride together~
That is so adorable! Brinley is dying for a bike too. She is so jealous of Teya's and is always asking to ride it. I love the trike idea, we should totally get her one! (love the ghetto fabulous pedal extensions btw! so awesome!)
Wow... that really is unlike Cameron! Big score for Miley, though! Love the trike... good choice (I am totally into the classic toys too, as you know). How are those pedal extenders working out? Maybe you guys could use the help of a couple of engineers to design those for ya?! ;)
I love classic toys too (and non-gender specific as well). Samantha is just barely starting to figure out pedals... so it might be a while before Miley can *really* use it. But she'll love it anyway.
LOVE it! Wish I had a bike that cool.
