Miley grew two inches, and gained two pounds in the last two months....her biggest growth spurt to date! She is still in the same percentile for weight as she was last time, but last time she was also in the 10th for height, so we are happy that she is now only slightly below average height-wise. :) The doctor also couldn't stop talking about how advanced Miley is for her age. She said she is developmentally above what most 6 months are, in regards to her eye-hand coordination, her "verbal" (babbling) and oral skills (all the things going into her mouth are good for something, I guess!), and her interaction. That is something that a mom always likes to hear. :) Other than that, the doctor also said I should start weaning her off of all of her night feedings except one (woo hoo!) and to start experimenting with food such as crackers, oatmeal, etc. since Miley isn't really taking to her rice cereal and the other baby food.
I am glad we survived another appointment, even though we have MORE shots coming up soon!

The appointment sure wore Miley out (these pictures are look pretty familiar...oh yeah! They are pretty much exactly the same as after her four-month check up!).

I love the hat! :) Miley isn't taking to her baby food? Let me know how the weaning off of those night feedings goes for you... I need to get on top of that one, too!
That stinks that you have to go back for another shot! Those are the worst! Brinley goes in for her 6 month check up next week so it will be interesting to see how much she's grown. Little Miley is still itty bitty, but sounds like she had a pretty good growth spurt this time around! That's also cool that the Dr. told you to try crackers, I need to try something else too because Brinley hates the rice cereal, no matter how I make it. Good to know there are other things she can try!
I'm glad to hear you survived the experience of getting shots! Lainey thinks it's terrible. She had to get two shots today and she SCREAMED. Oh well!

She is so cute! I love the sleeping pictures. Those always are my favorite. She is soooo tiny. Brig's 6 months was 18 lbs 4 oz and 27 inches! Love all the cute Christmas picutres. Looks like you all had a good time. It is fun when they get to Embry's age. They totally get into the whole Christmas thing and the Santa. Having kids definately makes the holiday's more fun!
Hey, you guys can always come visit! We'd love it. Cameron would love all the golf he and Adam can play and the beautiful weather. This is the best time to come. Keep us posted.
